We have always been at home here

Ever since our company was founded in 1957 we have been at home in the mining industry. Increasing economic growth and rising demand for energy resources resulted in a continual increase in efficiency over the years. As a consequence forged flight bars, also known as armored face conveyor bars (AFC) or scraper bars, as well as beam stage loader bars (BSL) for longwall mining systems in underground mining with a gross weight of 100 kg and more and a length of up to 1,600 mm are no longer an exception.

Our well known and internationally recognized customers include original equipment manufacturers (OEM) of longwall mining systems, mining chain manufacturers and after-market traders.

Our forgings – especially flight bar assemblies – are used in mines across the United States, Australia, Europe, Russia and South Africa. Short lead times and high quality products are guaranteeing our customers a maximum flexibility and process reliability and help to avoid production outage.

Depending on customer requirements we are offering application specific material and a heat treatment that is aligned to the conditions in the mine including optional induction hardening of flight bar tips, machining and assembly specific fastening solutions. Corrosion protection optimized packaging solutions and organizing for international shipment is part of our full-service strategy.
